If you’re a thrillseeker on vacation in the Smoky Mountains, you’ll be excited to know that Tennessee is a mecca for mountain coasters! These unique attractions are built onto the side of a mountain and feature coaster carts attached to a steel track, using gravity to propel your cart back to the beginning of the ride. However, unlike a traditional roller coaster, you are in the driver’s seat and control the speed of your own ride down the mountain! Here are 4 thrilling mountain coasters in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville that you need to experience:

This mountain coaster is located right next door to our hotel in Sevierville TN, so just walk over when you are ready for your downhill adventure!
